Say A Little Prayer For You

Dear Lord,

I lift Him up to You today in Love, Joy, Peace, and Excitement.  Lord, I pray that you fill Him with Your Love, Your Grace, Your Mercy.  Lord, You know the Love that is in My Heart - the all-consuming, unconditional, ever-growing, LOVE that You have placed in Our Hearts (1 Peter 1:22) and I pray that Love surrounds not only Him, but is blanketed across ALL of humanity.

Lord, I pray that you keep Him//Us on the straight and narrow path that leads to Your Salvation (Matthew 7:13).

I praise You, the God of all wisdom. Thank You, God, for knowing the longings of His heart far better than I. You know why He hungers.  You know how these yearnings affect his decisions and how those decisions affect Us.
You are the God who satisfies the longing soul. You fill the hungry soul with good things. Here are Our hearts and souls, Lord. I lift him up to You and ask You to fill him with the good You know He needs (Psalm 107:9;Matthew 6:8).


The world offers Him so many things to temporarily satisfy his needs. Temptations abound, but You are His shield and His defender.  Please train Him to resist the devil (Psalm 28:7; Psalm 59:9; James 4:7).


I celebrate that You triumph over every one of Satan’s schemes and the scars He has left on Our heart. You are the restorer of His soul. Let the balm of Your perfect love and mercy touch the brokenness of His heart (Genesis 50:20; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 23:3; Jeremiah 17:14).  I trust You to give him rest and satisfaction while protecting him from harm (Daniel 3:8–30; Proverbs 19:23).

Lord, I pray that He will grow spiritually and consider His accountability before the Lord. I pray that He will guard His heart by developing spiritual disciplines—Bible reading and study, prayer, meditation, scripture memorization, etc. (2 Peter 3:18; Prov. 4:23)


Father, Your Word amazes me. The world is looking for the next “perfect” solution to their problems, and You are always offering it through Your Word. You sent Your Word to deliver, nourish, and counsel Us. My heart’s desire is for Him to feast on Your Word and find It immensely satisfying (Psalm 107:20; Proverbs 3:8; Psalm 119:24;103).


With Your Word as His source of wisdom. I trust Your Word to fill _Him with the insight He will need for Our relationship, His work, and so much more (Ephesians 1:8,17; James 1:5).


Your Word will unite His heart to Yours. His oneness with You will lead his pursuit of oneness with me. Your ways will become His ways. Your faithfulness to me will become His faithfulness to me (1 Corinthians 6:17;Mark 10:8; Galatians 5:23).


Send him an abundance of confidants whose faith in You is bold and courageous. Let them be men who do not lean on their own understanding, but always acknowledge You and Your Word (Psalm 119:63; Proverbs 28:1;3:5–6).


Dear God, thank you for your unconditional love for me.  I am so undeserving, yet you pursue me daily!  Thank you for your grace and for your perfect provision.  I am so blessed and grateful for my life and His.   Thank for trusting us with each other’s hearts. You have given us an opportunity to love each other unconditionally and I ask Lord that you would help us to love like You love.  Please show Us how to be joyful partners, compassionate partners, humble and truly forgiving partners. I pray for wisdom. I pray that you would equip both of Us with whatever we are lacking so that we may bless each other and be a beautiful example to others.  Give Us a discerning spirit and the courage to speak truth into the lives of others, which will encourage them.  Keep words of disappointment and regret, lies from the enemy, far from us. Lord, if He is struggling with anything, specifically please remove it from Him.  Heal Him and give Him a strong desire to seek after you.  I pray that He is the spiritual leader that you have called Him to be.  May your characteristics manifest in Him as He grows in His relationship with you. 

God I ask that you would protect our relationship, keeping Satan and his ways far from our family.  Holy Spirit, walk with my Him today, call out His name and reveal Yourself to Him.  I pray that our love for each other continues to grow deeper and deeper every day.  Please grant us time to spend intimately with one another, and especially time and desire to pray with and over one another!  May you be at the center of our relationship FOREVER and EVER!  Reigning in our hearts, motivating our love and guiding our actions!
