1) UPSET: I am upset that my child is having difficulty in a social environment and is viewed as needing too much extra help or having special needs and that I am not able to provide him what he needs. I feel overwhelmed by the demands that life keeps throwing at me. 2) MIRROR: I am upset that I am having difficulty in a social environment and that I am viewed as needing too much extra help or having special needs and that I am not able to provide myself what I need. I feel overwhelmed by the demands that I keep throwing at myself. 3) IS THERE ANY TRUTH TO THIS STATEMENT: Well.... yes. Ive always felt like an outcast and very different than the rest of 'normal' people. I feel like I burden others when I ask for help or that I need too much help. I feel like I have 'special needs' and that I can not provide myself what I need. 4) SPEAK TO THE PART OF YOURSELF WHICH IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM AND LOVE YOURSELF: Missy, you are not difficult or 'too much' for the person God created to love you or for God Himself. You do not require more than either are willing to give you. You are not a burden. You are loved beyond measure. Please stop demanding so much of yourself. Trust that you do not need to provide for yourself because you are provided for. "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" - Matthew 6:26
