Hi, Hi, Hello!

So, its been a while since I've updated this blog.  In fact, my whole social media updating has been quite sparse as of late, and Ive had requests to remedy that so here I am with my attempt to cram a few months of Twinsanity into one blog post, and to apologize for my lack of social media presence.  I promise I'm still around!  But quite honestly, as cliche as it is to say, my hands have been quite full!

I share those memes with jest, of course, but there is always some truth behind every 'just kidding'.  I LOVE being a M.o.M. and wouldnt change it for anything.  Luckily for me, having twins isnt so much hard as it is exhausting (read: time consuming.  Thankfully I can operate on about 5 1/2 hours of sleep lol)

These two certainly keep me on my toes!  I dont even know where to begin with updating on their milestones.  They are hilarious lil dudes and surprise us every day with their new accomplishments.  Watching them discover, learn, and grow has been awesome (understatement).  And watching them do it together has been phenomenal and an honor.  

But when Im not  Ooohing and Aaaaahing and in sheer, utter amazement, Im playing my other role as Security, busy keeping these two from killing themselves or each other.  

For starters, not even a week after I got the cabinet locks installed, they learned how to open them.

I mean, I turned around from making their lunch the other day to see this.  THIS is the stage we are in now. ::insert exasperated sigh::

Im close to convinced I gave birth to monkeys.  Seriously.  Go ahead and ask Joel if he's a monkey and he will cheerfully reply, "OoOh oooh ah ah!".  (and it just may be one of the cutest things ever).

Of course, they've discovered their new skill set in the midst of the Hectic Holiday season, but I am SO EXCITED for Christmas with them this year!  I mean, the whole season is just riddled with opportunities for adorableness.  Like this:  ​

So, there's the tip of the iceberg as it pertains to my minions.  But believe it or not, that's not all I've been up to folks!

There's More!

Sometimes I wake up early to sneak large kitchen appliances into my basement so I can surprise my snoozing family with fresh, homemade (from scratch, people.  Yeast and all!) Cinnamon rolls.

Ok, so the "Before" pic isnt the actual before of my table - I took before pics and I cant find them any damn where, so I Googled an image of one that was close enough :P

But I have not channeled my inner DLB since the holidays hit.  However, the last time I was going to the gym consistently, not only did I manage to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight, I got down to my pre-Infertility diagnosis/treatment weight!  I stopped stepping on the scale after that and just started going by the fit of my "skinny" clothes.  This is the current state of my size 3/4's!    ​

I may not be swimming in them, but its a good day when my skinny pants are loose!

Because, Silly. Also, look how crazy long my hair is!

Yes, I realize that I'm not wearing my wedding set in these photos...that's because my husband upgraded it for my Christmas present!  Merry Christmas, Mama!

I'm still giddy this thing is actually on my finger and isn't ending back up in the case.
My husband must think that I deserve TWO diamonds for whatever reason. hehe 

And Hey, do you remember that time that I started schooling with the Morris Pratt Institute and was kicking out perfect scores on my lessons to become a Commissioned Healer.....

But then shortly after beginning the course, I finally received answers to some very long sought out medical concerns and was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure/Diminished Ovarian Reserve, and was given very grim odds of conceiving a biological child, even with the assistance of IVF.......

...... and then, after having a completely cancelled cycle (given no chance of pregnancy that month even with medical assistance so all medications and procedures were cancelled) with our reproductive endocrinologist, I handed it all over to Spirit, and that very same month, I "spontaneously" became pregnant with fraternal TWIN BOYS!?!?!?!  

Well, in case you forgot, that happened.  And not only have I started my lessons back up again, I'm writing a book! (hence less blogging...more booking)

I know right?!  I've always had a penchant for writing, but never thought I'd write a whole entire book.  However, almost every time I share my story, the response I get is "WOW!  You should write a book!!!"  And so, after some recent(ish) emotional turmoil and personal growth/epiphany, I decided to go ahead and write that book.  Its going to cover the time span of circa February 2009 to Today, I'm going to consider it the genre "Inspirational Memoir", and I'm really very excited about it.

I also want to write some really cute kids' books - a series - that have a rhyme scheme similar to Dr. Seuss's "The Cat in the Hat", featuring TWIN Brothers and all the fun adventures they have, and they'll all be about Morals/Values/Lessons (kindness, managing anger, etc. etc.)  However, I haven't started those yet (outside of my dome).

Last, but most certainly not least

I'm still doing the whole church thing.  Now now, hang with me a minute - please dont let the "C" word deter your interest (if the sheer length of this blog hasnt already lol).  I don't just attend church as a congregation member, As the Secretary of the Board of Directors, I helped (we have an astonishing team and it takes ALL of us) START AND MANAGE A BUSINESS.  A f&$*ing legitimate 401C3 non-profit business, you guys.  FROM THE GROUND UP.  And I have a couple of years invested already so, its kind of a BFD to me. ​
